What areas do you service?

I’ve decorated at venues around the country. So, travel is not out of the question. Typically, I will travel within 40 miles of the South County area without a travel fee. But different jobs have different requirements. We can talk about it.

How do I request a quote?

Simply complete the Contact Form on the website: https://sammyjballoons.com/tell-us-about-your-event/. Once I know your event information, I will be able to provide a detailed Agreement Letter to confirm the details for your celebration décor.

How far in advance should I book?

While events can be booked years in advance, booking as early as possible is strongly recommended. Normally, events are confirmed 1-2 months prior to the event date. I need time to secure specific product and to design the sculptures for your event.

How do I pay for my decor?

The Agreement Letter will outline payment details. Decoration jobs require 50% retainer to hold the date. The 50% balance is due prior to décor setup. I accept most electronic payment options including Venmo, CashApp and PayPal.

What is your refund/cancellation policy?

I understand that life happens. We can always talk about the situation. Generally, if the event is cancelled less than thirty days before the event, the 50% retainer will not be refunded. If Client cancels the event less than two weeks before the performance, Client will pay the full amount of the guaranteed fee.

How much do balloon decorations cost?

All decoration projects are individually designed and priced. Charges depend on the size, style and number of balloons. Some general guidelines:

  • Organic Garland: $25-$35 per foot
  • Balloon Columns: $20-$28 per foot
  • Photo Frames: $185 and up
  • Circle Frames: $275 and up
  • Balloon Arches: $22-$28 per linear foot

Can you come to the event venue and tell me what I need?

Generally, décor jobs can be designed and completed with descriptions, photos and measurements provided by the event site. If a site visit is requested, a $125 fee will be required prior to the meeting. The “site visit” fee will be deducted from the total fee on the contract.

Do you have a minimum order?

The minimum fee for a decoration job is $200. If you need a few helium balloons on ribbon, contact your local Party City store. We each do what we do very well.

What is the cost for set-up and teardown?

With limited exceptions, I don’t charge “delivery, set-up and teardown” fees. There are times that very large projects require special equipment, excessive rigging or long distances. But generally, the price you see is the price you pay.

What if my venue choice does not allow helium balloons? Are there other options?

Absolutely! Almost all balloon decorations are made with air-filled balloons. Helium balloons are expensive, don’t stay inflated a long time and are difficult to work with. I am very creative with hanging balloon sculptures from ceilings, attaching to frames and using features in the event space to display balloon décor.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Venmo, CashApp, PayPal and company checks (personal checks are not accepted)

How long do balloons last outdoors?

Outdoor decorations are not guaranteed against damage from acts of nature including heat, cold, rain and wind. I will make every effort to secure outdoor displays. Installation times can be adjusted to keep the decorations looking their best for your event.
